The Hand That Tells The Story

The Order: Alicia Gough with Brenda and Ian Gough assisting ‘The Hand That Tells The Story’ A story of my life living with a disability.

Set Up: Our clients visited us to discuss Alicia’s life story and provided us with carefully chosen photographs to go in her book. Once entrusted in our care, the photographs were scanned into our computer and duly returned to the family.

Our client, along with her parents visited us with different stages of her life story. We felt it important that Alicia had an involvement with the production of her book.

We produced new artwork, setting the story of Alicia’s life inserting the photographs. At various stages our clients received copies to read through and amend as necessary.

When the book was ready to go to print, the customer received a completed copy to give it a final read through before going to print.

Print: 200 books were ordered, the insides were printed on 100 gsm white card and the cover on 280 gms white card.  The book was printed, folded and saddle stitched along the spine.  They received a final trim to size and were packed ready for the customer to collect.
